Redesigned room 1, a state-of-the-art auditorium covering 1,080 m², is an architectural highlight of the CCD Süd. When the entire room is in use it can seat 1,028 people theatre-style or 478 classroom-style. Its size and features make the auditorium particularly suitable for large assemblies, congresses, meetings or presentations. With its unique design and lighting, it can be bathed in different colours at the touch of a button and all the walls of the hall used as projection areas. The ultra-modern lighting system in the room can also simulate daylight to ensure that participants enjoy a fatigue-free event. The neighbouring foyer with views of the Rhine provides ample space and can be used for relaxed breaks.
