#meindüsseldorf: “An absolute highlight: the open session at “Jazzschmiede”"
Admittedly – I come from the Ruhr Valley and I am passionate about this region – known as the “pott” (a reference to its industrial history). But it was not a coincidence that I opted for to do training in Düsseldorf.
I have frequently felt a pull from this place. One reason, of course, being the Old Town with its Altbier breweries – who likes Cologne’s kölsch beer anyway? But another reason was definitely the musical scene it offers. During my studies at the Drummers Institute in Reisholz (2013/14) I regularly attended the open sessions at the “Jazzschmiede” club – an absolute highlight for me in Düsseldorf.
Apart from that I like the city’s beautiful modern architecture. I particularly like the “Rheinturm”. I can definitely recommend the vistas it offers from its top floor to anyone visiting Düsseldorf.
I can perfectly understand why Düsseldorf is one of the “liveable” metropolises in the world.

V., systematically analyses developments in this area with a view to developing future concepts on this basis. As part of SevenCenters of Germany Düsseldorf Congress supports this project – and draws inspiration on it. The term “New Work”, innovative ways of working in the global and digital age, determines not only event formats but also the back offices of more and more companies – to the benefit of customers.Mehr
