#meindüsseldorf: “So open-minded, so friendly, so down-to-earth”
Admittedly, when I came to Düsseldorf, or rather Flingern, two years ago I did already know about the international flair of the North Rhine-Westphalian capital. Living in a cosmopolitan neighbourhood, though, is an even more positive experience. The neighbourhood around Worringer Platz, in particular, has many surprises in store. Be it for dining at my favourite Lebanese restaurant (Sannin libanesische Spezialitäten), for shopping at the many Asian markets on Ackerstraße or for a (really good) gin and tonic at Hotel Friends – there is no other place as open-minded, friendly and down-to-earth.
Not a fan yet? Well, then get going – I’ll be happy to help you with tips, tricks or just my company over a glass of Alt beer at Worri!

Düsseldorf Congress establishes new working environment – open-plan office concept promotes creativity and teamwork
The “Convention Centre of the Future” has been an increasingly used buzzword in the meetings industry over the past few years. The innovation alliance “Future Meeting Space”, for example, initiated by the GCB German Convention Bureau in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IAO and the EVVC Europäischer Verband der Veranstaltungs-Centren e. V., systematically analyses developments in this area with a view to developing future concepts on this basis. As part of SevenCenters of Germany Düsseldorf Congress supports this project – and draws inspiration on it. The term “New Work”, innovative ways of working in the global and digital age, determines not only event formats but also the back offices of more and more companies – to the benefit of customers.Mehr
