Düsseldorf is permanently expanding its accommodation infrastructure – becoming even better prepared for conventions and company events. Over the coming two years some 3,000 new hotel rooms will be built in the North Rhine-Westphalia capital.

The “Convention Centre of the Future” has been an increasingly used buzzword in the meetings industry over the past few years. The innovation alliance “Future Meeting Space”, for example, initiated by the GCB German Convention Bureau in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IAO and the EVVC Europäischer Verband der Veranstaltungs-Centren e. V., systematically analyses developments in this area with a view to developing future concepts on this basis. As part of SevenCenters of Germany Düsseldorf Congress supports this project – and draws inspiration on it. Outstanding Training: CIC honours Düsseldorf Congress employee as one of the best graduates in North Rhine-Westphalia
Mattis Möller, who works in Project Management at CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf, completed his training as a Management Assistant in Event Organisation with excellent results this summer. In his final exams the 25-year-old qualified as one of the two best apprentices in his profession in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce recognises Mattis Möller for this at this year’s “Landesbesten-Ehrung” (Best Regional Trainee).Mehr
